The Standard series of Pillow Speaker models are designed for use with the Responder 5 nurse call system and hospital grade digital televisions. A variety of pillow speaker models are available. The pillow speakers combine in one compact unit: up to two (2) controls for room lighting, a speaker for listening to TV and nurse call audio, and a microphone for the patient to communicate to the nurse call system. All models include an easily identified nurse call button and TV control button, both embossed in Braille, and three (3) additional nurse call buttons for the patient to indicate a need: “Water”, “Pain”, or ‘Toilet”. All models also include TV channel up/down, closed caption, and mute buttons and a large thumbwheel volume control.
